Question Variations

Add variations to help the AI match different phrasings of the same question:

Example: Shipping Question

Primary: How long does shipping take?
Variation 1: What's the delivery time?
Variation 2: When will my order arrive?
Variation 3: Shipping duration
Variation 4: How fast do you ship?
Variation 5: Delivery timeframe

Tip: The AI will also match semantically similar questions even without explicit variations, but adding them improves accuracy.

Priority & Confidence

Answer Priority (1-10)

Higher priority answers are preferred when multiple sources could match. Default is 5. Use 10 for critical responses (pricing, legal).

Confidence Threshold

Minimum match confidence (0-100%) required to use this answer. Lower = more matches but less precision. Default is 70%.

Exact Match Only

When enabled, answer is only used for near-exact question matches. Useful for very specific queries.

Best Practices

Start with your top 20 most-asked questions

Write answers as you would speak to a customer

Include relevant links in answers when helpful

Add 3-5 variations per question for best matching

Keep answers concise (2-3 paragraphs max)

Update answers when policies or products change

Use high priority for critical/legal content

Review 'unanswered questions' report weekly to add new Q&As
