Creating Your First Bot
Follow this guide to create a fully functional AI chatbot that represents your business perfectly.
Start the Bot Creation
From your dashboard, click the "New Bot" button in the top right corner, or navigate to Bots → Create New Bot.
Tip: You can create multiple bots for different purposes—e.g., a sales bot for your main site and a support bot for your help center.
Choose Your Bot's Identity
Give your bot a name and personality that matches your brand:
Bot Name
Choose a friendly, memorable name. Examples:
- • Alex — Friendly and approachable
- • Support Team — Professional, team-based
- • Luna — Creative and unique
- • [Your Brand] Assistant — Brand-focused
Bot Description (Internal)
Add a description for your team to identify the bot's purpose. This isn't shown to visitors.
Configure Welcome Message
Set up the first message visitors see when they open the chat:
Good Examples
- "👋 Hi! I'm here to help. What can I assist you with today?"
- "Welcome! Ask me anything about our products or services."
- "Hello! Looking for something specific? I can help!"
Avoid
- ❌ Too long or overwhelming
- ❌ Technical jargon
- ❌ No clear call to action
- ❌ Being too formal or robotic

Choose the primary use case for your bot. This helps optimize responses:

Choose Tone & Personality
Select how your bot should communicate:

Customize Appearance
Make your bot match your brand:
- Primary color: Match your brand colors
- Avatar: Upload a custom icon or use initials
- Position: Bottom-left or bottom-right
- Button style: Rounded or square
Preview your changes in real-time before saving.
Add Quick Replies (Optional)
Add suggested quick replies to help visitors start conversations:
Quick replies appear below the welcome message and make it easy for visitors to start common conversations with one click.
Save & Deploy
Click "Create Bot" to save your configuration. You'll be taken to the bot settings page where you can:
- Copy the installation code
- Add knowledge base content
- Configure integrations
- Set up lead capture
